Philadelphia’s premier contemporary ballet company BalletX comes to Jacob’s Pillow to perform the dreamlike Sunset, o639 Hours. This ballet interprets the tragic true story of pilot Edwin Musick’s 1938 inaugural airmail flight across the Pacific, a romantic narrative of bravery and loss, illustrating the sights and sounds of pre-World War II New Zealand, Samoa and Hawaii.
