Yale Center for British Art
(CT) Yale Center for British Art appointed Martina Droth as its new deputy director and chief curator. Most recently, Droth served as the deputy director of research, exhibitions and publications, and curator of sculpture at the Center. She is also co-editor of the born-digital, peer-reviewed journal British Art Studies, and chair of the Association of Research Institutes in Art History. In her new role, Droth will provide leadership and oversight to the Center’s curatorial departments, be responsible for the care and growth of the Center’s collections, organize permanent collection displays and temporary exhibitions, and work with the curatorial departments to create and implement programs.
