Artists Sunday

(NE) Artists Sunday will take place on Sunday, November 29. Artists Sunday is an art-focused shopping day the Sunday after Thanksgiving. An artistic, locally-minded response to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Artists Sunday is a free nationwide campaign that promotes artists’ visibility by encouraging consumers to purchase from local artisans during the holiday season. This year over 2,500 individual artists from across the country are participating with specials, sales and discounts on offer to customers. The event is backed by 340 local arts agencies, chambers of commerce, and nonprofits all supporting their local artists. Participation is free for economic development agencies, non-profit organizations, and artists creating all types of original works for sale to the public.
