Praise Shadows Art Gallery

(MA) To celebrate the upcoming opening of the Boston area’s newest contemporary art gallery, Praise Shadows Art Gallery, the gallery and Brookline Booksmith will present an artist talk with The Guerrilla Girls on November 23 at 7 p.m. The conversation with two of the founders of Guerrilla Girls, Käthe Kollwitz and Frida Kahlo, will be moderated by Praise Shadows founder Yng-Ru Chen. The conversation will center around the new book Guerrilla Girls: The Art of Behaving Badly, which catalogs the history of the Guerrilla Girls from their provocative street campaigns, unforgettable media appearances, and large-scale exhibitions. The event will take place on Zoom and is open to the public. Registration is free with the option to purchase copies of the book. Proceeds of the book sales will benefit Brookline Booksmith and Praise Shadows Art Gallery.
