The Currier Museum

(NH) The Currier Museum recently announced its purchase of the George Byron Chandler House in Manchester, NH. The museum announced that with the finalization of the purchase, it will move forward with plans to restore the late 19th century House, which is located across the street from the museum. The House’s main floor — which preserves stained glass windows, original wallpaper, and fine wood — will be open to the public as an expansion of the museum, serving as a representation of New Hampshire in the 19th century. The House joins the museum’s two houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in presenting the architectural heritage of the region.
