The Fitchburg Art Museum

(MA) The Fitchburg Art Museum (FAM) named Lauren Szumita as its next curator. Prior to her role with FAM, Szumita served as the curatorial assistant of prints, drawings, and photographs at the Worcester Art Museum. At FAM, Szumita will oversee the museum’s permanent collection, exhibition program, and public art initiatives. She will also play a role in the museum’s partnership with Fitchburg State University and collaborate with other FAM staff on education and community engagement programs.
