(MA) The Provincetown Public Art Foundation

(MA) The Provincetown Public Art Foundation, founded in January 2020, chose artist Esteban Del Valle to create a mural in the alley of Marine Specialties on Provincetown’s Commercial Street. Del Valle’s murals can be found across the country as well as the Dominican Republic, Colombia and Germany. In Provincetown, he worked with students in the last graduating class of Provincetown High School to create a mural during his 2012-13 fellowship at the Fine Arts Work Center. Del Valle has done several murals in places where he’s had residencies and says it’s “always a great feeling to give a piece of art back to a place that I have an emotional, spiritual connection to.”
