Reception and performance: Tuesday, January 28, 6–8 p.m. Extending his decades-long critique of patriotism, democracy and corporatism, Provincetown artist Jay Critchley’s exhibition features his compelling uses of the American flag, drawing on his research and work around American symbolism, mythology, history, settler occupation, Native Nations and ecological concerns through various media.
