Ongoing: Harvey Wang’s New York. Where else but in New York will you find a 97-year-old scrap-metal collector, a pillow maker, a mannequin maker, or someone who still digs graves with a shovel? As machines and electronics take over, and as gentrification and changes in customs occur, Harvey Wang’s poignant portraits capture the men and women in vanishing jobs and professions. Also on view: Yiddish: A Global Culture.
